Who We Are:

The Wisconsin Direct Caregiver Alliance (WIDCA) is a not-for-profit direct care worker association established in 2006 to strengthen long-term care services by recognizing and supporting the development of direct caregivers.  We strive to:

  • Create positive change in the quality of long-term care in Wisconsin by improving the quality of the direct caregiving job.
  • Explore and understand the long-term care workforce trends that are unique to Wisconsin and inform our membership about them.
  • Work in collaboration with workers, consumers, employers, and other partners to improve the long-term care system in Wisconsin.
